I am literally squealing with excitement as I type this, as today is the day I’ve been planning for the last eight months! Growing up in Norfolk, I've always loved collaborating with local brands and think it’s important to support local businesses and represent where you came from. Whenever it was a friends birthday or I wanted to treat myself to something, I would pop into Lisa Angel and walk away with something beautiful to treasure. So you can imagine my excitement when I was invited to their new store launch in our shopping centre - I couldn’t wait to go and meet Lisa herself! We got chatting over a glass of gin and soon started talking about my love of jewellery, how I love to mismatch like my mum and would one day love to design my own collection. The very next day I had a personal direct message from Lisa on Instagram asking if I'd like to talk more about collaborating. I grabbed my car keys and popped over to her house to meet with her and her team and talk about all things jewellery. We created three beautiful mood boards while we munched on candyfloss grapes and chocolate bourbon biscuits and with a little drawing help from her design team we came up with an eight-piece collection which I am bursting with pride over.
The premise behind the collection is that nobody is perfect. In a world obsessed with perfection and sharing their highlights online, I have always believed in being yourself and wanted to create a collection that was a little raw around the edges; an imperfect circle mixed with my favourite stone, the opal. My ethos online and in-person has always been to move your mind because in truth it is your biggest obstacle and I'm hoping that this eight-piece customisable collection is the little reminder you need to move your mind, even when you don’t feel like you can.
My beautiful collection is now live and available in-store as well as online with the option of international purchases. Everything except the earrings can be customised and made uniquely personal to you.
